Howdy!   Some of you may know me by other names from other forums, not all of them very complimentary, but it is me nonetheless.   I am old, opinionated and dispense sage wisdom whether you want to hear it or not.   I've been at this game a long time, back from the days when I started with an old converted Army mine detector.    I have seen some changes.   I am look forward to being here and having new adventures with all you good folks.   I have a lot of interests including the Philadelphia Eagles, gravestone photography, cemetery preservation, fur harvesting, fishing and Indian artifact hunting.  I hail from the mythical Pennsylvania town of Dingle, home of the world famous Dingleberries.    If you don't know what a Dingleberry is you have led a sheltered life and you may want to stand downwind of me.    I have a wife, grown children and a bunch of cats.  When it itches, I scratch.

Well from one OldCoot to an Oldcoon welcome to the forum. You did not state that you have a metal detector. If not I am sure you will soon.
Glad to have you here.

I currently have 2 detectors, both Tesoros.    One is a Vaquero and the other is a Silver uMax.   The Vaquero is my relic machine and the Silver uMax is my lawn and park machine.  I am currently considering a third machine to the line up.
