At the National Buffalo Soldier Museum here in Houston, they just set up a Camp Logan-Houston 1917 Riot display. Camp Logan was a WW1 training camp during 1917-1919 in Houston, TX.

Buffalo Soldiers were a company of black soldiers in the US Army.

I have been collecting post cards of the camp and have found some coins while detecting in the camp area. Also Txcoindigger had found some artifacts while detecting some of the camp. He has credit for finding some of the items, that are in the display case of artifacts.
I also have gotten some actual 1917-1918 "letters to home" sent from the camp, off of ebay.

I have loaned the museum 6 of my small display cases for their big display, which will be shown for about 1 1/2 months.

I have almost a full shelf for my items. Smiley
